This is a cartoon shader (XTOON stands for extended toon shader) based on the articles from French researchers (Pascal Barla, Joëlle Thollot and Adrien Bousseau among others).

It is working as a mental ray(r) 3.5+ shader for mental ray(r) standalone, compatible with 3ds Max(r), Maya(r) and Softimage|XSI(r) among others.

Features

This shader pack contains three shaders:

	* A 3d solid texture volume shader (iso-surface rendering): dl3d_raymarcher_solid_volume
	* A participating media volume shader (smoke, fog - no photon mapping support yet): dl3d_raymarcher_volume
	* A transparent shader: dl3d_raymarcher. It works approximately like the standard transmat shader: it be put in the material and shadow slot of a Maya shading group / Max mr material.

Features

This shaders pack contains a displacement shader generating offshore ocean surface aspect, and foam, from physical parameters such as wind speed, swell amount, etc...

Our model is based on physical oceanography, giving us realistic wave animation and look. It's not based on Jerry Tessendorf's method.
