This shader pack contains three shaders:
A 3d solid texture volume shader (iso-surface rendering): dl3d_raymarcher_solid_volume
A participating media volume shader (smoke, fog - no photon mapping support yet): dl3d_raymarcher_volume
A transparent shader: dl3d_raymarcher. It works approximately like the standard transmat shader: it be put in the material and shadow slot of a Maya shading group / Max mr material.
The volumetric shaders can be combined: for example, you can put a 3d solid texture into one or more participating media volumes. Multiple participating media will blend.
Shadow casting is correctly handled in most cases.
